I should really get into, "Club" photography [07 Nov 2005|11:36pm] [ mood | tired ] I mean, it's just soooo easy, and I bet it pays a little bit of cash... for example, taken last Saturday at Gameworks in Ontario. I know not really a "club" but the lighting's all the same anyway Cousin Nim on the way to the mills Cousin Boy and Cousin Nim being club whores Cousin Boy sinkin a few The Three of us. Those two guys were my absolute best friends growing up, they were the brothers i never had. I love them to the ends of the world. And why JoeTokyo felt horrible on Sunday morning. And if you're wondering, yes, we celebrated Cousin Boy's birthday twice. Friday was the intimate close people surprise bday party, Saturday was his homies get drunk at gameworks party. 4 rocked me in all the dirty places|touch me here

Long time no see! [02 Nov 2005|10:21am] [ mood | happy ] [ music | Head Automatica - Beating Hearts Baby ] Happy belated halloween! So what was everybody for the festive occasion? I dressed up as Steve Zissou but was mistaken for: Where's Waldo, a Smurf, and that crack head on Dave Chappelle's show. Anyway, sorry for the late update again, just after i posted my last entry, my harddrive went kaput. I just recently got a replacement and photoshop, so avast ye mateys, im back! About the Last Entry Thank you to everybody who took the time to critique/comment the shot, I greatly appreciate it. What i was trying to convey. First and foremost, i wanted a feeling of Intensity. The busy background, the Intense look in Maysa's face and the passage on the cup. The cup's passage starts out kinda mundane and boring, but the last phrase, "Life's Too Damn Short." i felt that was pretty intense and overall made the shot. Yes i realize that because the cups are stacked that it feels way set up, but honestly, it was a shot that i did not expect. I was enjoying a free Jazz concert outside the Omni hotel with Maysa when i just happened to read her cup. I knew i wanted to keep that passage so i took a picture of it. I noticed that if i moved my camera in a certain angle, it'd get her in the background and since im such a big fan of Bokeh (that's a blurred background) i quickly shot it before she could say otherwise. /spiel. anyway, i just recently got an 8mm Fisheye lens for my camera, here's some shots with it. opinions [09 Oct 2005|09:30pm] [ mood | curious ] [ music | Common - They Say ] I need all of your honest opinions in a photo critique. I've never asked for this before, so I really need it this time this is one of the images i'm entering in a photo contest... I need to know what emotion this image gives you, or what you think of it. try to keep in account everything going on in the scene. the final production of this image won't have the border/watermark, it's just there because my resizing action in pshop adds it automatically. also, it will be printed in 8x10 so the passage on the cup will be much easier to read After a couple of days, I'll post up an entry on what I attempted to capture and what I'm trying to convey.
